Fearne Cotton Nail Varnish!

I really wanted to do a blog post on the Fearne Cotton's Nail Varnishes today because I absolutely love them. There are six colours in the set that I got, some are sparkly and others are matt. They look so good when they're on and I wore them a lot throughout the winter.

Why I like them:
  •  You only need one coat for a good coverage.
  •  They're  long lasting.
  •  There is a variety of sparkly and matt.
  •  They go really well in the winter, especially around Christmas time.
  •  They give a smooth, gell effect
  •  They're perfect for parties
  •  They're easy to remove.
As you know, I love doing my nails and I really love these so I wanted to do a blog post on them. Unfortunately, they were a special for Christmas and I got them a couple of year ago but I found some similar sparkly ones from Barry M so click here if you're interested in getting some similar ones.

Review: Justin Bieber Believe!

Today I thought I would do a blog post about one of my favorite films. I love it so I really wanted to recommend it to you. The film is Justin Bieber Believe. You may or may not know that I am a huge Justin Bieber fan so I booked tickets to go and see this film in the cinema when it first came out at the end of 2013. I really enjoyed. I went with my family and they really enjoyed it too which shows that you don't have to be a huge Justin Bieber fan to enjoy the film. I also have the DVD and I watch it all the time because it's my favorite and I could never get bored of it.

The film is basically about Justin Bieber's life and it shows clips from one of his concerts during his Believe Tour throughout. I was lucky enough to go and see Justin live whilst he was doing the Believe Tour and it was one of the best days ever so it brought back some lovely memories for me.

To tell you a bit more about the film I have included what it says on the back of the DVD case.

"Behind the headlines, beyond the spotlight - there's more to his story. JUSTIN BIEBER'S BELIEVE captures 19-year-old Justin Bieber unfiltered and brutally honest. In brand new interviews with Bieber, the movie reveals long-awaited answers to questions about his passion to make music, relationships and coming of age in the spotlight - as well as never-before-seen concert footage unprecedented behind-the-scenes access and special appearances from Usher, Ludacris and many more"

I think that this film shows the true Justin Bieber and portrays what a nice person he is. It says on the front of the DVD "Behind the spotlight lies the real story". I think that this shows that not everything you read is true and I would definitely recommend this to you if you are interested in hearing his side of the story.

Here are some reviews on this film:
  • "Will send fangirls into a tizzy" - wegotthiscovered.com
  • "Bieber is the perfect teen hero" - rogerebert.com
  • "A slickly entertaining piece of work" - variety
  • "Will please true Beliebers" - commonsensemedia.com
I love this film. I would definitely give it a 10/10. I definitely recommend it, so why not try it out?
If you are interested in buying this DVD click here where you can buy it on Amazon for just £7.89. If you do choose to buy it, I really hope you enjoy it as much as I did :)

Tips for Revision!

Hello Everyone,

I know that a lot of you will be approaching exams soon whether it is GCSE's, A Levels or something else so I thought I would give you some revision tips to help you to relax during this time leading up to exams because I know that it can be a very stressful time.

  1. Start revising early - If you start early you will feel much calmer approaching the exam.
  2. Make a timetable - Make a simple timetable of what you want to revise each day so you know what to do and have allocated enough time for each exam.
  3. Write to-do lists - This means that you know what needs to be done and you can cross it off as you go.
  4. Highlight the most important things - This will attract your attention to the most important things and these will be good for the night before or the morning before the exam because you can just go over the key things.
  5. Stick post-it notes up with key words and phrases on them - This means that you are constantly seeing the most important things which will help you to remember them.
  6. Find Somewhere quite to revise - This way you can be alone and concentrate on what you need to do.
  7. Take regular breaks - If you don't, you might end up getting stressed out
  8. Make Notes - condense your class notes down into key things that are easier to remember.
  9. Read over your class work often.
  10. Eat & Drink plenty - This ensures that you stay focused.
  11. Get plenty of sleep - This is so you can concentrate the next day.
  12. Get rid of any distractions - I know its hard but maybe put your electronics out of sight or in another room to avoid distractions.
  13. Look Online - There are loads of things online that are really helpful, so have a look.
  14. Test Yourself with past papers - You can find them online with the mark schemes and it is really good to experience what the exam is going to be like and go through past questions because there is always a chance a similar one might come up.
  15. Don't Worry - There is no point in worrying because it isn't going to help. Just think about what you can do to make the situation better. This also applies to after the exam; there's no point in worrying about what grade you got. Just wait and see on results day and if you know that you tried your hardest then that's all that matters and there's nothing else you can do.
I hope you have found these tips helpful and if you do have exams soon I hope you do really well. Good Luck. :)

February Favourites 2015!

Hello Everyone,

Today I thought that I would tell you about some of the things that I loved throughout February. So, here are my February Favourites.

The first thing that I have been loving this month is Love Tanya which is available on Amazon for £6.49 if you are interested in purchasing it. I have only read a few chapters so far but I am loving it so I definitely had to include it in my favourites. I am hoping to do a book review blog post on Love Tanya once I have finished it so keep an eye out for that.

The next thing I have been loving this month is the 'I love...to just drift away...' relaxing bath soak. This links to another thing that I have been loving this month which is having baths. This bath soak smells so nice, it makes me feel so refreshed. I love it. This Bath Soak is available online for £3.75. Another Bubble bath I have loved throughout February is the Mr Frosty Spiced Apple Bubble Bath from Avon. This smells so so nice. It's a shame that it was a Christmas special because I'm going to need more when this one runs out.

Another thing I have been loving recently is the Jack Wills lip crayons. They are such nice colours and I wear them a lot.

Also, I have been wearing rings a lot lately. I think that they are a really nice touch to some outfits.

The last favourite thing from last month is the Fault in Our Stars DVD.  I watched this last month and I loved it. I honestly thought it was just as good as the book which is good because sometimes you can read a really good book and then the film can be a bit of a let down but this wasn't so I was really happy. I can't wait to watch it again soon.

So, they are my February favourites. I hope you liked this blog post. :)

  1. Follow your dreams and don't let anyone stop you.
  2. Certain things catch the eye, but pursue only those that capture the heart.
  3.  Stand up for what you believe in, even if it means standing alone.
  4.  A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity. An optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.
  5.  It's never too late to be what you might have been.
  6.  Happiness is a way of travel, not a destination.
  7.  Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.
  8.  Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.
  9.  Every moment is a fresh beginning.
  10.  Forget all of the reasons it won't work and believe the one reason it will.
I hope you like these quotes as much as I do. :)

Review: Girl Online!

Hello Everyone,

Today I thought I would do a blog post about a book that I read recently called Girl Online. Girl Online is written by a Youtuber & Blogger called Zoe Sugg A.K.A Zoella. I enjoy watching Zoe's videos and reading her blog so when I found out that she was writing a book I couldn't wait to read it. I really enjoyed reading it and it was one of those books that once you start it, you just can't put it down. I was hooked.

Here is the blurb so you can get an idea of what the book is about:

"Penny has a secret.
Under the alias Girl Online, Penny blogs her hidden feelings about friendship, boys, her crazy family and the panic attacks that have begun to take over her life. When things go from bad to worse, her family whisks her away to New York, where she meets Noah: a gorgeous, guitar-strumming American. Suddenly Penny is falling in love - and capturing every moment of it on her blog.
But Noah has a secret too. One that threatens to ruin Penny's cover - and her closest friendship - forever."

I think this book is amazing; it's definitely one of my favorites. It's full of drama, romance and comedy and I feel like you really get to connect to the characters.

I would definitely recommend this book so if you are interested click here where you can buy it on Amazon for only £5.00. I love this book and it's a book that I will definitely read again and again. If you do buy it, I hope you really enjoy it and good news - Zoe Sugg is currently writing Girl Online 2 which I can't wait to read. So, if you enjoy this one, make sure you get Girl Online 2 when it is released.

I also love Zoe's Youtube Channel and Blog so I have linked them below in case you would like to have a look.
