Blogmas 2016 - Day 22 - MY Christmas Make Up Routine!

Blogmas 2016!

Hello Everyone,

As I've mentioned in other posts as part of Blogmas, Christmas is a time where there are more parties and nights out. Therefore, today I thought I would tell you what my Christmas party/night out make up routine is. I'm not the type of person to wear too much make up so I find that what I wear is enough for me personally. I hope you enjoy this post.

I start off with my face make up first.

Step 1 - I use the Avon Face Perfecter as a Primer. This just helps my make up to go on smoothly and stay on for longer.

Step 2 - Next I do my concealer. I use the Rimmel Hide The Blemish Concealer to cover any spots that I have on that day. Then I use Maybelline The Eye Eraser for my under eyes. I blend all the concealer in using a beauty blender.

Step 3 - The next step face wise is to put my foundation on. I use the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation. I really .like this foundation because it's really good coverage but doesn't feel heavy on your face. I usually blend my foundation with a brush.

Next I move on to eyes/ eyebrows.

Step 1 - I fill in my eyebrows using a pencil from Rimmel.

Step 2 - I put on the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara. I really like this mascara but it can be a bit thick for my liking so I then go over it with the Maybelline Rocket Volume mascara to help spread my lashes out a bit.

Step 3 - I then put on my eyeshadow. I really like the W7 Carnival dust for around Christmas time because it's sparkly and festive.

Lips

Step 1 - Before I do any make up at all I always put some Vaseline on my lips to moisturise them and allow my lipstick to go on more easily later.

Step 2 - The last step in my make up routine is to put on whatever lipstick/ lip gloss I am going to wear that evening.

So that is my make up routine for Christmas parties/ night out. It's very simple but effective and it works for me. I hope you've enjoyed reading this post.

Blogmas 2016 - Day 18 - What's In My Christmas Party Clutch!

Blogmas 2016!

*All images in this post from now on are taken from the internet*

Hello Everyone,

Christmas is definitely a busy time of year where there are a lot of parties and a lot of nights out planned so today I thought I would tell you what is in my clutch bag on a Christmas night out. I hope you like this post!

What's In My Christmas Party Clutch!

Purse - Cash, Coins & Card

I obviously take my purse with me. In my purse I have coins and cash to pay for any food & drinks that I have. I also take my card I case there is an emergency where I need more money than what I have. For example, if I needed a taxi to get home I could pay for it using my card if I didn't have enough cash.

Phone

I always have my phone. I take it everywhere I go anyway but it's always important to have it on you when you go out in the evening for safety reasons.

I.D.

I always carry my I.D. in my clutch so I can buy alcohol and get into clubs on nights out.

Chewing Gum

I always have chewing gum in my bag so I can keep my breath fresh if I have any food or anything like that.

A Mini Perfume

I also take a mini perfume to again freshen up if I want to.

Lipstick

Finally, I always keep the lipstick I am wearing that evening in my bag so I can reapply it throughout the evening if I feel the need to. Red is one of my favourite lip colours for around Christmas time.

I try to keep my clutch as minimalistic as possible so it's light and only has the essentials in it. This is everything I take with me on a Christmas night out. I hope you enjoyed reading this post.

Blogmas 2016 - Day 17 - Festive Party Outfit Ideas!

Blogmas 2016!

*All images in this post from now on are taken from the internet*

Hello Everyone,

Today I wanted to give you some inspiration for outfits for Christmas parties or nights out that are coming up. I hope you like this post!

A Sparkly Dress

Sparkly dresses are perfect for parties around Christmas time because they look so festive. They're really in at the moment so you can find one pretty much anywhere. Here are some nice ones to act as inspiration for you.

Image result for sparkly party dresses                   Image result for sparkly party dresses

Jumpsuits

Obviously Winter can be cold so you might want something that is going to keep you a bit warmed. Jumpsuits are a really good option for this because it means that your legs are covered which is much warmer than wearing a dress.

Long Sleeved Dresses

If you prefer to wear dresses then a long sleeved dress is a good alternative to help keep you warm on Winter nights out.

Leather Jacket

I think that leather jackets are essential for winter because they go with everything and are perfect for keeping you warm whilst your on a night out or at a party during Christmas. I have one and wear it all the time so I definitely recommend them.

A Sparkly Clutch

You're probably going to be taking a bag out with you so for Winter/ Christmas I think that a sparkly clutch like the one below is perfect. These look better with a plain outfit. This bag would look so nice with some of the jumpsuits above.

Over the Knee Boots

Ove the knee boots are really popular at the moment and I personally really like them and I want to get some soon. These are a great alternative for winter/ Christmas because they're warmer and they look really nice with most outfits.

I hope you like these ideas for Christmas party/ night out outfit ideas. I'm definitely going to need all of these for night out this Christmas. What is your one Winter clothing essential? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading!
