Pretty Little Liars!

Hello Everyone,

Today I wanted to recommend a TV Series that is available to watch on Netflix. This show is called Pretty Little Liars. I'm sure many of you have already heard of this show and have maybe even watched it but I just wanted to mention it in case any of you are looking for something good to watch on Netflix. I have already talked about PLL on my blog but I just wanted to do this blog post to tell you a bit about it.

I would say that PLL is one of the best shows I have watched. I'm literally obsessed with it. There are currently six series available to watch & I watched them all in a couple of months because it's just so gripping and once you finish one episode you want to find out what happens next.

I don't want to give too much away but it's basically a show about four girls whose best friend went missing . All four of then start receiving messages of someone called A who knows all of their secrets which ends up causing them a lot of problems. This description doesn't do the programme justice but it's all I can say without giving anything away.

This programme has everything from drama to comedy to romance. I just love it & it's one of them shows that once you start it you can't stop watching it & you're hooked straight away. It's so exciting to watch so I definitely recommend it.

I hope you like this post. I definitely recommend watching Pretty Little Liars if you have Netflix. If you already watch it let me know who your favourite character is. :)

The Autumn Tag!

Hello Everyone,

It is officially Autumn now which I am extremely happy about as I love this time of the year. Autumn/ Winter is definitely my favourite time of the year so I thought what better blog post to do than the Autumn Tag. Here are my answers to the Autumn Tag Questions.

Favourite thing about Autumn?
My favourite thing about Autumn has to be how cosy everything feels. I love coming home at the end of the day, having a bath, getting in my onesie & watching Netflix all evening.

Favourite drink?
My favourite drink not only in Autumn/ Winter but all year round is a cup of tea. However, I also love a hot chocolate in Autumn

Favourite scent/ candle?
I'm not a huge fan of candles because I don't like really strong scents but I do really like the Yankee Candle in Clean Cotton as I find it really comforting.

 Best Lipstick?
My favourite Lipstick for Autumn is the Rimmel Kate Moss 08 lipstick as it's a bit of a darker colour which is more Autumnal.

Go-to moisturiser?
The facial moisturiser that I always use and rave about is the Body Shop Seaweed Matifying day cream. I also think it is really important to keep you lips moisturised throughout Autumn & Winter so to do this I use the Aloe Vera Vaseline .

Go-to colour for eyes?
I don't wear much make up so I don't really have a go-to colour for my eyes but I know a lot of people tend to go for gold colours throughout these months of the year.

Favourite music to listen to?
I don't really have any particular music that I enjoy listening to in Autumn. I usually just listen to whatever songs are newly released. Although I have been tempted to start playing my Christmas CD at the moment but I am managing to resist so far.

Favourite outfit to wear?
The type of outfits I like to wear in Autumn is black jeans and a thin jumper as it's that strange time of year wear it's freezing cold in the morning and then boiling by lunch time. Chelsea boots and scarfs are really nice autumnal accessories. Layering is also a good thing to do outfit wise during Autumn.

Autumn treat?
I love having hot chocolates as a treat in Autumn.

Favourite place to be?
To be honest my favourite place to be in Autumn is at home, in my comfy clothes, chilling out with my family.

I hope you've enjoyed this post. What is your favourite thing about Autumn?

My Favoruite Perfumes!

Hello Everyone,

Today I wanted to tell you what my favourite perfumes are. I hope you like this post.

I am very fussy when it comes to perfumes because I don't like something too strong because I find that it gives me a headache. Therefore, I find it very hard to find a perfume that I really like. However, there are four perfumes that I own that I really do love.
They are:
I wear all of these perfumes a lot because they just smell so nice and fresh and not too overpowering.

As you probably know I do like Justin Bieber so when his perfumes came out I knew I had to try them and they are just lovely. I wear them a lot and would buy them over and over again.

The Wonderstruck perfume was actually bought for me but is also a scent that I would choose for myself.

I also really like the Zoella Beauty Body Mist because it is again not to strong and has a really nice smell to it. I think all of these are really good for everyday wear.

The one's I wear the most are probably Justin Bieber - Someday and Taylor Swift - Wonderstruck. I really do love all of these perfumes. However, everyone has different personal preferences when it comes to perfumes so these might not be for everyone because it depends on what type of scent you like but I would definitely recommend them. If you are interested in getting any of these, click on the names and they will take you straight to a website where you can purchase them. I hope you liked this blog post. :)

Things all Girls Should Have!

Hello Everyone,

Today I thought I would do a blog post about some things that I think all girls should have. These are all materialistic things that I really like and think that are really good for girls to have as they are really useful things. So, here's a list of things that I personally think all girls should have.
  1. White Converse
  2. Black Jeans
  3. A Leather Jacket
  4. A Denim Jacket
  5. A Tangle Teaser
  6. Some Ripped Jeans
  7. Chelsea Boots
  8. A Summer Dress that you just love to wear
  9. An Everyday, perfect Handbag
  10. A Denim Shirt
  11. A Waistcoat/ Gillet
So they are all things that I think are really useful for a girl to have because the clothing items are all really easy to style and make a simple outfit look really good. This is only my personal opinion and you might not like some of these so that's fine. I hope you liked this post. :)

Places to Visit Near York (Part 2)!

Hello Everyone,

As promised here is the second part to my blog post about places to visit near York. If you haven't seen the first part then click LINK to read that now. I hope you like this post.

Whitby!

We spent a few hours in the seaside town Whitby on one of the days of our holiday in York. It was a really beautiful place. We spent our time doing the touristy things like climbing the 199 steps (following in the footsteps of Bram Stoker's Dracula), looking around the shops and taking in the beautiful scenery. We also stuck to traditions being by the coast and had fish & chips for lunch looking out on to the sea which was lovely. I thought Whitby was really pretty so prepare yourself for a lot of photos. We had a lovely time in Whitby and I would definitely recommend going there. Hopefully one day we will be able to go back and spend a bit more time there.

The National Railway Museum!

Whilst we were staying in York we also visited the National Railway Museum. I found it so interesting to see the trains and find out about their background stories and what they had been used for. It was really interesting because you could see how the interior of the trains had changed throughout different eras. Also, a lot of the trains had been used to carry royalty so it was interesting to see how their trains differed to trains that were used to carry normal people. The royal trains looked really luxurious filled with comfy sofas and even beds. The trains were so nice and well looked after. The only downside to this is a lot of the photos came out blurred because the trains were that shiny. I definitely recommend going to the national railway museum. If you want to have a look at their website click here.

I loved these old fashioned signs. I thought they looked so good. They had them all over the walls of the museum. I'm so glad this photo came out well because I love it.

York Minster!

York Minster is the largest gothic cathedral in Nothern Europe. We went inside and it was so beautiful. I think that seeing the minster is a must when you're in York. We did go inside to have a quick look and it was lovely. If you want to see the York Minster website click here.

Castle Howard!

We also visited Castle Howard which is a place my parents have spent quite a bit of time in the past because one of our family members lived and worked on the grounds. Therefore, we returned for a bit of a trip down memory lane. We had a look around the grounds and in the gift shop. It was quite late in the afternoon by that time so it was too late to have a look around the stately home unfortunately. If you want to have a look on their website click here. It would definitely worth visiting if you are ever near there.

How cute is this little van?

So, they are all of the places I wanted to tell you about. I really enjoyed my time in York and I highly recommend going to all of the places I have told you about if you get a chance. I hope you have enjoyed this post. :)
